select advanced install
Select privileged
Type in your desired root password and follow the rest of the instructions
Keep the standard parameters:
- 10GB disk space
- 2 Cores
- 2GB RAM
I’ll be giving it a static ip
Create an SSH key to later connect your PBS and with you PVE

Installing Proxmox Backup Server Virtually on your Proxmox Virtualization Environment is not recommended because of the inception Problem.
A situation in wich the Proxmox Backup Server (PBS) tries to backup itself because it is one of the virtualized VMs on you Proxmox Virtual Environment (PVE). I have no additional hardware for it so that’s what I’ll do anyway :D.
